A clean paint finish does not prove that a used excavator is mechanically sound. Brazilian buyers evaluating an overseas machine should inspect a specific serial-numbered unit under repeatable conditions and keep evidence that can be reviewed before payment and shipment.

Minimum evidence: serial plate, cold start, engine compartment, hydraulic cycles, travel, swing, digging under load, undercarriage close-ups, cab display and a live video call.

Identity and documents

  1. Match serial number across plate, invoice and inspection record.
  2. Confirm model suffix, year and regional configuration.
  3. Photograph the hour meter and controller information.

Engine checks

  1. Start the engine cold; a pre-warmed engine can hide problems.
  2. Check smoke, blow-by, oil leaks, coolant and abnormal noise.
  3. Run at idle and working rpm; verify stable response and temperature.

Hydraulic system

  1. Cycle boom, arm, bucket, swing and travel until warm.
  2. Check cylinder rods, seals, hoses, pump noise and drift.
  3. Test combined functions under load, not only single movements.
  4. Verify auxiliary lines and attachments when included.

Structure and working equipment

  1. Inspect boom, arm, bucket and chassis for cracks or repairs.
  2. Measure pin and bushing play.
  3. Check swing bearing movement and slew-ring noise.

Undercarriage and travel

  1. Inspect track links, shoes, rollers, idlers and sprockets.
  2. Test straight travel and steering in both directions.
  3. Check final drives for leakage, noise and overheating.

Cab and electrical system

  1. Check display warnings, gauges, lights and camera.
  2. Test air conditioning, controls and safety lockout.

Evidence and commercial confirmation

  1. Request an unedited walkaround and a scheduled live inspection.
  2. Confirm included bucket, attachments, tools and spare parts.
  3. Put the accepted condition, exceptions and included items in the quotation or contract.

How to compare two machines fairly

Use the same test order, video angles and checklist for every candidate. Do not compare one unit using professional inspection footage with another using only marketing photographs. Hours should be evaluated together with wear, maintenance, application and idle time.

Ask for a serial-numbered inspection

Tell JUE QI Machinery the models, tonnage, application and destination port. We can provide current units, inspection evidence and a live video appointment before preparing an export quotation.
